Micro Stroke Brows
The Micro Stroke Brow is a brow style that has extremely thin hair strokes from the front to the end of the brow. A 0.18 needle is used making the 3D hair stroke extremely thin to where it is nearly undetectable that the hair strokes are a tattoo. This process does take longer than the other brow techniques, and does fade faster, but they are the most natural looking style that can be achieved for permanent brows.
To start your permanent brow journey, it is recommended (but not required) to schedule a brow consultation. Here we will discuss your desired shape, color, and the overall goal you are looking to achieve. We will also walk through the entire procedure as well as the healing process, easing any anxiety you may have and addressing all of your questions or concerns.
At Inked By Paiz, numbing is included in all of the permanent makeup services. When you arrive for your brow appointment, the first thing we do is apply a topical numbing cream to the brows. That will sit anywhere from 30 - 40 minutes to ensure maximum comfort for the beginning of the procedure. After the first pass on the brows with the tattoo machine, a secondary numbing solution will be added to help maintain your comfortability through the remainder of your brow appointment.
After you have finished numbing, we will map out your brows. This is done by measuring your brow based off your bone structure as well as your desired look, an outline is hand drawn out and measured to create as much symmetry as possible. After the mapping is complete, you will have the opportunity to make whatever changes you would like to it in order to ensure your desired shape.
After determining you are numb and have successfully been mapped, we will begin the tattoo process. This is done with a professional tattoo machine and permanent makeup needles. Using the tattoo machine, ink will be deposited under the skin to mimic that of your natural brows thickness, color, and shape. Typically this process takes about 1 - 1 1/2 hours, and usually takes 3 passes with the tattoo machine on each brow. After the first pass with the tattoo machine the secondary numbing solution is applied to the brow to ensure maximum comfort through the rest of the tattooing process.
After finishing the tattoo process you will finally get to see your new set of brows! After you have had the chance to fall in love with them, we will discuss your aftercare once more and an after care kit will be provided to you.
Typically it will be about 2 - 3 years after your 6 week touch-up before you will need to touch them up again. This will depend on the style of brow you choose and the color of pigment used, with thinner hair strokes and lighter colors fading faster.
Right after the procedure and the next day or two following, the brows will appear bold due to a scab being formed. This scabbing phase can last from 1 - 2 weeks. After the third or fourth day the brows will begin to lighten up in color; 3 - 4 weeks after the procedure, the color of the brows will even out to the color that they will stay. It will take a full 6 weeks for them to completely heal.
If you are seeking a fuller brow, are wanting to change your brows shape, or just don't want to mess with filling them in anymore, the permanent brows are an option for you!
