What is Camouflage Tattooing

At Inked By Paiz, we know how important it is for you to feel comfortable in your own skin, that is why we are so happy to offer camouflage tattooing as a service. Camouflaging is done by tattooing ink that is color matched to your natural skin tone in areas of the body that are discolored due to scaring, stretch marks, birth marks, or sun damage. Sometimes it takes more than one session of this form of paramedical tattooing in order to achieve the desired camouflaging goal. Camouflaging is the perfect way to blend out those perfect imperfections!

Where can Camouflage Tattooing be Done?

Healed Stretch Marks

Healed Stretch Marks

Healed Stretch Marks

Camouflage tattooing is an option for healed stretch marks. The stretch marks have to be completely healed before performing this form of paramedical tattooing. This is because we want to make sure the color of ink used will continue to blend with the natural tone of your skin overtime.

Healed Scars

Camouflage tattooing is an option for those born with light colored birthmarks or those suffering from conditions such as vitiligo. This procedure can eliminate the appearance of these spots completely.

Walk Through The Camouflage Tattooing Procedure

Step 1: The Consultation

To start your permanent camouflage journey, it is recommended (but not required) to schedule a consultation. Here we will discuss your desired outcome and make sure we can color match you correctly. We will also walk through the entire procedure, as well as the healing process, easing any anxiety you may have and addressing all of your questions or concerns.

Step 2: Begin the Paramedical Tattooing Procedure

We will start the procedure with a professional tattoo machine and the ink we have color matched to you. Using the tattoo machine, the pigment will be deposited under and around the treatment area in order to create a smooth blend. How long this process will last will depend on the size of the treatment area.

Step 3: The Big Reveal

And just like that, your perfect imperfection is gone! After you have had the chance to fall in love with your results, we will go over the after care procedure and the healing process. Then you will be on your way, loving yourself just a little bit more!
